Hey I’m McKenna — passionate art educator, painter, soulful person who finds inspiration in the power of love, freedom of intuitive expression and the life experience. Art has been my deepest way of connecting with myself through color, movement and its many layers; similar to life itself.

Much of my featured work is fostered by the words of poet, Rupi Kaur, whose poems about evolving and resilience echo emotions I explore in an organic, free flow way based on my personal experiences . Her writing reminds us that vulnerability and strength can exist in harmony; I try to channel those sentiments within my pieces. (Quotes featured can be found under my Inspo tab).

I studied Art Education at SUNY New Paltz, where I learned the many ways to embrace the making process. My work has been displayed in galleries such as Gallery 5 in Schenectady and the Troy Art’s Center in New York.
